When you buy a poker table, the fastest way to narrow down your options is deciding between a rotating dealer or a dedicated dealer setup. A BBO Poker Table with a continuous-armrest suits home games, while dedicated dealer poker tables are ideal for casinos and professional poker rooms.

What type of poker table is best for a rotating dealer?

If you are hosting a traditional game of Texas Hold’em—or any home or private game where the dealer chip moves around the table—you need a continuous-armrest design. Because there is no fixed dealer, an unbroken armrest allows players to sit comfortably at any position.

A prime example of this is The Stratton, one of our newest oval-shaped designs. Tables tailored for this format often feature premium playing surfaces, such as blue felt paired with a gold betting line, to ensure seamless card sliding and clear betting boundaries for everyone in the rotation.

When should you buy a poker table with a dedicated dealer spot?

If you are outfitting a casino, a professional poker room, or hosting a high-level private game with a hired, stationary dealer, a standard oval table won't suffice. You need a poker table designed specifically with a dedicated dealer cutout.

For these environments, the best models to explore include the Lumen, Prestige, Aces Pro, Aces Pro Alpha, and Aces Pro Plus. These models are engineered to give the dealer proper reach and chip management space without sacrificing player comfort.

What are the structural and sizing options for BBO Poker Tables?

Whether you need a table for occasional game nights or permanent casino placement, poker tables must adapt to your space. Depending on your chosen model, you can select between robust furniture legs for a permanent fixture, or folding legs for easy storage and mobility.
