Here at BBO Poker Tables, we ship freight - A LOT. Every time someone orders a poker table, it must go on a semi truck in order to meet its new owners and trust us, it’s not a small bill at the end of the year.
This led us to critically think about how we can make a difference with our giant total annual shipping expenses to maximize the difference we are making on the economy. While we are not going to single-handedly balance the US Treasury debt, we’re modifying our shipping procedure starting 2012 to focus on small size independent shipping providers, and skip the multi-national corporations whenever possible. The idea is that when you purchase a BBO Poker Table, the freight logistics and cost will be paid to your next door small business owner, and not a faceless corporation.
We have partnered with uShip, the world’s largest independent shipping network comprised of small, independently owned driver operators to give our customers the ultimate choice of how their tables will arrive.

The Reviving the Economy shipping plan advantages and disadvantages:
Advantages:
- You will get a personalized delivery experience, including driver contact information to keep in touch with your delivery driver through the entire process.
- Less chance of damage! No loading and unloading and re-loading associated with large freight companies. Once we strap up your freight (strapped up by BBO staff personally), it stays put - minimizing damage and overall headaches.
- Drivers are all rated through the uShip system, which means an incentive to provide you with excellent service. We only use 4 and 5 star drivers and specify the appropriate rigs for our products.
- No need to take the entire day off! You can coordinate directly with the driver for an accurate window of delivery. No more 8AM to 5PM delivery windows!
- Independent drivers will help you off-load and carry into a covered space, unlike some grumpy freight drivers.
- Provides for an one of a kind shipping experience, just like the one of a kind shopping experience we hope you’ve received with BBO Poker Tables!
- BBO Poker Tables will end up putting several hundred thousand dollars back directly into local neighborhoods and small business owners every year!
Disadvantages:
- It usually takes up to 3 days maximum to find an appropriate driver.
- Delivery times may vary a day or two versus the large freight carriers.
- Limited online tracking access, you have to do it the old fashioned way and pick up the phone.
All shipments are still fully insured by BBO Poker Tables and our warranty definitely applies. The Revive the Economy option is an excellent option if you are not pushing a deadline and can afford a bit of flexibility in delivery. Overall the experience will be more personalized with less chance of product damage. But really, it’s just cool to put money back into the local economy for everyone to enjoy!
*Disclaimer: The Revive the Economy shipping option may not be available in every location, and it’s up to the sole discretion of BBO Poker Tables whether the freight will be able to be shipped through the uShip network. Metropolitan and rural areas may be hard to reach destinations for the uShip network and will have to be deferred to standard freight shipping methods.
